Privacy Policy
This policy explains what LoadPin LLC ("LoadPin", "we") collects when you use loadpin.net, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We do not sell personal information and we do not show advertising.
1. What we collect
Brokers (our customers): your name, email, company and login details; your balance and payment history; the carriers and shippers you pin and the notes you write; loads you create; and basic technical logs such as IP address and browser, used for security.
Card details are entered with Stripe and handled by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.
Drivers: when a driver opens a tracking link and allows it, their device's location for that load, and any photos or documents they upload for it. Location is sent only while tracking is on and stops when tracking stops. A tracking link also stops reporting on its own 14 days after the load is created.
Carriers and shippers: public records from the FMCSA and other public sources, such as company names, addresses, phone numbers and safety records.
2. How we use it
To run LoadPin: sign you in, show carrier records, track loads, send alerts about carriers you pin, take payment, answer support requests, and keep the service secure. We do not use your data to profile you or to advertise.
3. Who can see a driver's location
Only the broker who created the load, and anyone that broker gives the load's tracking link to, such as the shipper.
4. Services we use
We share data only with the providers that run LoadPin for us, and only what each needs: Supabase (database and sign-in), Railway (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (automated email), Zoho (support email), Cloudflare (DNS), and mapping and address-lookup providers (for example HERE). We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
5. Cookies
We use cookies only to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. How long we keep it
Driver location: every position report is kept for 30 days, after which all but the last known position of each load are deleted. That last position is kept with the load record so the load still shows where it ended.
Account data, loads, notes and payment records: kept while your account is open. When you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information within 90 days, except records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons.
7. Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing support@loadpin.net. A driver can ask the same about their location data. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell affected users promptly if a breach affects their information.
9. Children
LoadPin is a business service and is not meant for anyone under 18.
10. Changes
We will post any changes here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, tell you by email.
